MFIs currently do not respect controls, ...I agree. MFIs currently do not respect controls, they detest them. They do not ask why the controls exist, respecting the clients and investors, and actually planning how to comply. Instead, they spend a lot of time trying to get the controls changed. If that cannot be done, they want to "self-regulate". WHY?
