This book is very interesting! I
loved how the author captures your attention from the very beginning. In this
tale, Prasad Kaminenis company called SAMMAAN Microfinance is lending money to
the poor who may not have been approved otherwise because of lack of assests.
It seems like a fix-all for those who need help out of poverty, but Prasad gets
caught up in the greed. They continue giving loans to those in need, although
there is no way they can pay them back. Many turn to suicide, as they see no
other way out of the deep debt that they owe.
This story has an easy plot to follow, with very well-rounded characters. I highly enjoyed this read. It was very well written and you are able to imagine what the scenes look like as you read along. I would definitely recommend it to others!
